Clothes

Please remember that all the children are here to play and experience different medias. Clothes should be comfortable and practical.  Clothes may get dirty so we ask parents to avoid new or special outfits. To aid your children’s independence it will be easier for them if they are dressed in clothes .

Potty Training

We work with parents when your child decides that they want to start potty/ toilet training. We ask if parent would provide several changes of clothing in a named pump bag including socks and a spare pair of shoes.

We also ask that these clothes have the children’s names in, just in case of any accidental mix ups.

Cold Weather

We encourage playing out in most weathers. Please be conscious of the cold and provide a warm suitable coat or all-in-one suit and wellies for the weather. Gloves on string threaded through the coat help avoid lost gloves and a hat which cover ears is essential all with names in please. We prefer not to use scarves for safety reasons.

Warm Weather

When the weather gets warmer, for however brief, we offer outside play. We ask that parents put sun cream on their child before they come to nursery so it has time to begin to work. Nursery sun cream (or child’s own, if you prefer) will be regularly re applied.
