Springtime Fun at Puddleducks@ Rising Bridge!

We have been having so much fun at Puddleducks@ Rising Bridge in the past couple of months!

The babies have been exploring in the Springtime Snow! They have also been painting, mixing, crawling, climbing, tasting and investigating. They used celery to make pictures with Mummies, Grandmas, Aunties and Nannies at the Stay and Play session. We also have been exploring in our Sensory Room with the lights and textures. We have been feeling the wind blowing outside, feeling the paint between our fingers and toes as we body painted on the big paper, practicing walking, crawling, rolling and lots more fun and learning.

The Toddlers have been exploring the wonders of animals! We have been sharing Dear Zoo and other animal stories together, putting the different animals into porridge oats, gloop, mud and sand. It has given us lots of things to talk about. Some of our children even went to the Zoo with Mummies and Daddies at the weekend, they shared their photographs with the other children too. We have been looking at aquariums and where other animals live such as the farm, zoo, jungle and caves. It has all been so much fun!

The Pre-School children have been looking at all different things! They have been exploring the snow and making our own Puddleducks@ Rising Bridge Snowman! We had to work as a team to make him as he was quite tall. We then chose him a scarf, some arms and stones for his eyes and smile, and we asked Auntie Linda for a carrot for his nose too! We have also been learning about horses and how to care for them, we made them an obstacle course to jump over and race along, one little girl went to a wedding so we had our very own Puddleducks Wedding. There was a party with dancing and balloons, we also made invitations and we had to wear a pretty outfit and a veil. We all had lots of fun. The Pre-School children have also been looking at the alphabet, numbers, shapes, colours the changing if the seasons at Forest School.
