We have been having lots of fun at Puddleducks@Rising Bridge!
Babies have been exploring ice!
We have also been investigating tinsel, snow and baubles from our Christmas Tree, some of us was unsure of the tinsel touching our hands as it felt very tickly. We made snowmen cards to take home for our families using different craft resources. We used potatoes to print penguin pictures and made our own pictures of snowmen for the display, we have had lots of fun exploring Winter and Christmas and cant wait to explore some more!
Toddlers have been creative with winter colours and crafts!
We have made angels and snowflakes for us to take home, we are going to put these on our christmas tree. The elves brought us some different coloured chocolates too, so we made special biscuits and cakes to take home for our families. we enjoyed scooping and seiving reindeer food (oats and glitter), it was lots of fun with lots of learning opportunities about amounts and colours, Aunty Chelsey added the weighing scales in to see what happened when we filled each side, we loved watching it go up and down.
Pre-School have been exploring the Arctic!
We have been learning all about the animals that live in the Arctic and the snow. The elves also brought us in a special igloo to play in we love going inside and looking up at the coloured stars on the top! We have been making snowman pictures with paints and cotton wool balls! some of us wanted to painted our hands to make polar bears too… it was very tickly.
The elves even came in from the North Pole to help decorate the nursery with Christmas decorations! Isn’t that special!
