Nursery Proprietor – Auntie Sue and Andrew
Auntie Sue started Puddleducks@ Rising Bridge in May 2014. She has a background in nursing and decided to open her second nursery after the success of her first. Since then Sue has gone on to open a third nursery. Sue has 25 years experience in Early Years and strives to better her practice at every opportunity.
Nursery Manager – Auntie Claire
Auntie Claire has a BA Honours in Children and Young People and brings lots of knowledge and skills to the team. Auntie Claire supports the staff team in being able to deliver the best childcare we can and is always available to discuss any aspect of children’s development or any aspect of nursery.
Deputy Manager – Auntie Laura
Auntie Laura has many years’ experience in working on early years and also managerial experience which she brings to our team. Auntie Laura has a BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies. Auntie Laura has good relationships with all the parents and children and is currently working with our Toddler children. She prides herself on providing the best possible learning experience for the children and has lots of fantastic activity ideas.
3rd in Charge and Senior Nursery Practitioner – Auntie Stacey
Auntie Stacey is a full time Nursery Practitioner and has a Level 5 in Children and Young People. She has experience in working in a variety of early years settings and enjoys providing a stimulating and exciting environment for our baby room. Auntie Stacey is currently completing the third year of her Foundation Degree in Working with Children and Young People.
Senior Nursery Practitioner – Auntie Chelsey
Auntie Chelsey works as a full time Nursery Practitioner and is qualified in CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education. She has a wealth of early years’ experience and demonstrates great knowledge of children’s learning and development. Auntie Chelsey has been a qualified childminder before she came to us, as well as her experience in early years’ settings. Auntie Chelsey will be returning to work after having her own little boy in January 2019.
Nursery Practitioner – Auntie Nicole
Auntie Nicole is a full time nursery practitioner who holds a Level 3 in the Children and Young Peoples Workforce. She has wonderful relationships with the children in her care. She has wonderful ideas which help the children to learn new skills and develop the ones they already have.
Nursery Practitioner – Auntie Louise
Auntie Louise is a full time Nursery Practitioner and is qualified to Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Childcare and Education. Auntie Louise has previous experience in early years both personal and professional. She has wonderful ideas and has strong parent partnerships within our nursery, Auntie Louise is currently working with our Toddler children.
Nursery Apprentice – Auntie Charlie
Auntie Charlie is an apprentice completing her Level 3 in Early Years and Children’s Workforce. She has a bubbly personality with wonderful relationships with the children she cares for. She works hard to make sure that the children are learning and developing with her activities she plans.
Nursery Apprentice – Auntie Emma
Auntie Emma is currently studying her Level 3 in Childcare and Education. Auntie Emma is gaining knowledge and confidence whilst working alongside the team, and has carried out some lovely activities with the children. She is currently working with our Pre-School children.
Nursery Apprentice – Auntie Sarah
Auntie Sarah is currently completing her Level 3 in Early Childhood Studies. She has such a lovely and caring manner with the children. She has fantastic ideas for activities which engage and entice the children to learn and play. This is the first nursery that Auntie Sarah has worked in and feels that it has developed her professionally.
Nursery Practitioner – Auntie Joanna
Auntie Joanna has completed her Level 3 in Early Childhood Studies. She has worked in a childminders for nearly a year before coming to us. She has wonderful ideas and experiments to do with the children. Auntie Joanna loves to be outside with the children and makes bigger activities for them to play and learn with.
Nursery Practitioner – Auntie Katie
Auntie Katie currently works between all 3 of the Puddleducks’ settings. She has a level 3 in childcare and has created wonderful relationships with the children and the parents here at Rising Bridge. Katie has lots of ideas to engage the children and to help them learn and develop.
Nursery Cook – Auntie Linda
Auntie Linda is our Nursery Cook, she works with us part time. She has worked as a nursery cook before. All the meals Auntie Linda cooks are freshly prepared on site each day, ensuring all the children are provided with nutritious healthy meals. Auntie Linda prides herself on the variety of meals she provides for the children.
